We set out to develop a “plug and play” back-up power solution, which can be used by anyone. The design was very simple to use. It works just like a normal plug box, plug it into a wall socket and plug the appliances into the Power Buggy, just like a plug extension.
The Powa Buggy is made of recycled plastic from milk cartons. Each enclosure removes 800 milk cartons from the environment and makes a very sturdy and robust enclosure. This Powa Buggy model is well suited for operating in harsh environments.
After Covid, we decided to extend the Powa Buggy with more models. We decided that there is a need for a more compact indoor back-up power solution. We came up with these concepts. First is a sheet metal version:
And we manufactured the first of these. But in keeping with the look of the recycled Powa Buggy model, we also decided to design a wood version
