Our Training Courses
We offer courses in power electronics, with supporting training in analogue and digital electronics hardware. We make extensive use of LTspice in our training courses, and provide the student with these LTspice simulations. We also support our design manuals with actual hardware that the students can order and experiment with.
We are continually developing our design manuals, which are mostly on power electronic circuit design topics. Through practice gained by working through these design manuals, the student will quickly become adept at understanding the fundamental approach to designing power electronics circuits. The basic recipe is essentially the same for all types of power electronics circuits. LTspice simulation is used extensively in all the courses.
Op-Amp Course
This course provides a detailed exploration of the op-amp and goes beyond the usual high level approach.
Inverter DC Link Short Circuit in PV applications
This course is meant to illustrate the effect of a DC link short circuit on a grid tied inverter.
Fuse selection for PV installations
This course guides the viewer through the process of selecting fuses for PV installations.
